A coordination meeting was conducted today, 13 February 2024, chaired by the Acting Director of the UNESCO Regional Centre for Information and Communication Technology and attended by the Centre's affiliates. In recognition of everyone's efforts, the meeting started with a presentation by Dr. May Ahmed Shamandy, the Acting Director of the Centre, outlining the most important projects that will be undertaken in the future as well as the accomplishments. Aisha Khaled Al-Qatan, Head, support services , then reviewed the update on the attendance and departure system. Dr. May .A. Shamandy thanked the team responsible for updating the files, supervised by Esteqlal Sayed Saeed Head, Capacity Building Progress. The files reflected the Regional Centre's achievements over the past period in light of the agreed objectives contained in the agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
